A Rainy Day at The Tropicana Casino Atlantic City

I stayed at the Tropicana Atlantic City for the first time about 10 years ago and knew I had made the right decision the minute I walked in. The theme of this hotel is Havana, Cuba. The hotel is situated at 2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 and is located directly on the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, providing easy access to the beach.

I am one of those people that don't mind a rainy day during a holiday trip, as long as it doesn't rain the whole trip, lol but if it does happen, I am not wasting my day. How many hotels have IMAX theaters? I don't know but The Tropicana does. Oh, By the way it is the city's only movie theater. It is located in the hotel's Shopping, Dining and entertainment complex called The Quarter.

THE QUARTER

The Quarter at Tropicana Atlantic City is a destination within a destination that is designed to give that Old Havana vibe, with very cool décor, live plants, and a festive ambiance that enhances the overall experience.

There are very interesting & diverse restaurants to choose from but here are our 4 favorites.

• Carmine's: A Travel Opulence Favorite. A family-style Italian restaurant offering large portions perfect for sharing. Traditional style, the meals are placed at the middle of the table so that everyone helps themselves.

• Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar: A Cuban restaurant featuring authentic Cuban cuisine and an extensive rum selection, It has a cool vibe with the famous car parked at the entrance.
