5 Luxury Hotels in Las Vegas: Indulge in Opulence

I stayed at the Vdara about 10 years ago when it was a fairly new hotel. I didn't know what to expect walking in. The first thing that grabs you is the perfume that the hotel releases into the air. The hotel being a non-smoking hotel smelled amazing. I didn't care that there was a non-smoking rule (I used to smoke at the time), what I was looking for was a luxury hotel that I could return to after the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas nightlife and the casinos. It is a quiet and relaxing hotel as the hotel does not have a casino in it but if you want to gamble then all you have to do is walk across to the Aria hotel. The Vdara & Aria are actually owned by Blackstone (a private equity firm) but are still operated by their previous owner, MGM Resorts International.

One of the things that I like about Vdara was the pool area, it is not huge like some of the other resorts but very intimate and relaxing with great service as you lounge poolside. The breakfast area is also not far from the pool, try the fruit salad, it's amazing.

The food at Vdara is great, regardless of where we ate inside the hotel, we were satisfied. I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone.
